About This Spot

Restoran Sin Yit Sing is a quietly unassuming spot tucked away along Jalan Labu Lama in Seremban, where the hum of daily life slows just enough to let you breathe in the comforting aroma of home-style Chinese cooking. Walking in, you’ll notice the calm, almost understated pace of the place — it’s not a bustling city hub, but rather a space where familiar flavors and thoughtful simplicity quietly take the spotlight.

The atmosphere here leans toward the relaxed neighborhood eatery, a spot where regulars nod hello and newcomers settle in with curious eyes, drawn by the promise of dishes rich in tradition yet served without fuss. It’s a place that welcomes moments of shared enjoyment around the table rather than loud celebrations, where the focus softly rests on the food and the company.

The kitchen’s offerings—ranging from signature crabs simmered in marmite to soothing bowls of coconut chicken soup—spark a warm, tactile connection to Negeri Sembilan’s local palate. The cooking reveals an attention to detail that’s more about the nature of the ingredients and less about flair. These are dishes meant to be savored slowly, bringing with them a sense of familiarity with gentle surprises along the way, such as the subtle infusion of flavors in the fish head noodles or the satisfying crispiness of fried pork ribs.

Visitors will find that the dining experience here is unpretentious, grounded in the rhythms of the community it serves. The space offers a quieter alternative when craving a meal free from overstimulation or flashiness. It’s the kind of place where the food invites you in for comfort and the ambiance encourages you to linger — a small corner of Seremban that speaks to those who appreciate genuine flavors and the simple joy of sharing a thoughtful meal.

Came here to try their marmite crab, on a Friday night. Very calm place, food is decent too.

Came here for dinner on Friday night. Not so crowded as it’s still early. Plenty of parking and the cleanliness level is ok. We ordered coconut chicken soup that was served inside a coconut shell. Very flavorful and the soup was piping hot. For fishhead noodles, I think it's just average, no surprise. Other dishes ordered were sambal petai and beancurd. Prices are quite reasonable.

Had their signature marmite BBQ Crabs, tasted really good and everyone loves the taste, we also ordered Chilli crab, however the taste wasn't we were expecting. In short, highly recommended for their signature marmite BBQ Crabs.

Travel all the way to Seremban for XXL crab. This is our 2nd option restaurant to go for since the 1st one was closed on that day. Luckily, food turns out to be satisfied.. cost RM440+ for 2 types of their signature crab dishes (marmite & sweet n sour + fried mantou), stirred fried french beans, and signature fried pork ribs. Crab cost RM188 per kg. All dishes up here are recommended if u plan to come & eat here.

The coconut chicken soup was good & tasty but the portion is small and very expensive at RM25. Fish head noodles was decent, peppery milky soup, the fish has a couple of bones. A big portion for single serving shared among 3 for RM15. Didn’t try the seafood & duck as it was expensive and we wanted to go elsewhere to try out other foods out. The lady boss was not friendly
